John O'Sullivan
Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer
As Vice President of Finance and CFO, John O'Sullivan oversees the organization's investment policies for an endowment and investment fund that exceed $77 million in the aggregate, and manages all financial activities, including reporting, grant management, contract execution, and financial oversight of the Foundation's over $40 million annual operating budget.
O'Sullivan has over 20 years of experience in financial and accounting management roles. He has been with the Foundation since 2005, previously serving as Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting and Interim CFO. His past responsibilities at the Foundation have included preparation of the monthly financial reporting package used by management, annual budgeting process management, periodic forecast updates, and overseeing the annual audit and reporting process, including the annual tax return.
Previously, O'Sullivan served as Assistant Corporate Controller at VantageMed Corporation, and Plant Controller for Interstate Brands Corporation. A California community college alumnus, O'Sullivan earned his Associate Arts in Liberal Science from College of the Siskiyous and his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University, Chico.
