First-ever California Community College Alumni Magazine, Web Site Launched - Tuesday, October 28, 2008

In what is believed to be an unprecedented effort, organizations and colleges throughout California have collaborated to launch the first-ever statewide community college alumni magazine. The inaugural issue of Affinity was launched this month, with a corresponding Web site also going live.

Innovative Nursing Placement Program Expands - Thursday, October 16, 2008

A Web-based system that directly addresses the country’s nursing shortage has been adopted by two additional markets, announced today by the Foundation for California Community Colleges. The Nursing Resource Center (NRC) will be implemented by nursing
schools and hospitals in Cincinnati, Ohio and Corpus Christi, Texas.
