For Higher Education Institutions
The Microsoft Campus Agreement (MSCA) is an annual licensing program specially created to address the unique needs of higher education institutions. At this time, 106 California community colleges participate.
Member institutions are allowed to run licensed software, including upgrades, on all computers owned or lease by the institution for a 12-month period. Not only does MSCA provide an efficient way to ensure all the institution's computers are running properly licensed software, the cost savings are substantial, often up to 60%.
FCCC also provides media and Campus Agreement support services to an additional 200 colleges and universities in 20 states. These services include maintenance of the MSCA, providing new software releases/updates and providing the latest Microsoft news.
For Faculty and Students
The FCCC Microsoft Work-at-Home Media Program allows faculty and staff from participating institutions to purchase Microsoft.
Some institutions have elected to purchase the Student Option under the MSCA. With this option, students are licensed to use Work-at-Home media on a computer designated for an individual student's exclusive use.
Products include: Microsoft Office Professional, Windows Professional Desktop Operating System Upgrades, Frontpage, Publisher, Project, Visio, Visual Studio, and VisualStudio.net.
