ESRI_Globe_Logo.JPGSite licenses for GIS (Geographic Information System) software from ESRI are now available for California community colleges through FCCC for discounted purchase. At this time the site licenses are only available to California community colleges.

ESRI knows that education and training are vital to every successful GIS implementation and understands the challenges of keeping GIS skills and knowledge up to date. ESRI also knows that every organization has a unique group of individuals with a variety of educational needs and learning styles.

ESRI Virtual Campus Agreement
Web-Based Training

ESRI Virtual Campus delivers affordable, high quality GIS education and training and a global learning community to more than 290,000 members worldwide.

Courses, workshops, and training seminars provide self-paced instruction covering a variety of topics related to ESRI software, the theory underlying GIS technology, and the application of GIS tools to find solutions in particular fields. Courses combine software exercises, conceptual material, and instructional resources, while workshops and training seminars offer focused presentations and demonstrations by technical experts.

Site licenses are available for discounted purchase.  These licenses are available on an annual basis, beginning on April 1 and expiring March 31.

A fee of $2000.00 for the year will include unlimited use of:

  • Desktop GIS with ArcPad, ArcIMS, and the current version of ArcView software, single and concurrent use.
  • ArcInfo
  • ArcEditor
  • ArcGIS Server Enterprise.
  • Data and Maps
