SACRAMENTO, Calif.—October 31, 2013—California Community Colleges Chancellor Brice W. Harris is one of two community leaders who will be honored by the Mountain Valley Chapter of the American Leadership Forum (ALF) at the upcoming Exemplary Leader Award Dinner. Harris, along with Larry Vanderhoef, Chancellor Emeritus of UC Davis, will be recognized for their commitment to higher education leadership and their support of the arts.
The 15th annual Exemplary Leader Award Dinner will take place at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Sacramento on Wednesday, November 6, at 5:30 p.m., and will unite over 500 leaders from community, public, and private sectors devoted to making positive changes throughout the Sacramento region. The American Leadership Forum is a national non-profit organization created to increase collaboration between local leaders and facilitate partnerships that benefit the community as a whole. The Mountain Valley Chapter strives to improve the Greater Sacramento region by uniting leaders from throughout the region and work collaboratively to benefit the entire community, and includes leaders from Placer, El Dorado, Sacramento, Northern Solano, and Yolo counties.
